• Device and technical data such as app version, operating system, browser, device type, crash reports, performance signals, and a device-scoped analytics identifier.
• Optional foreground location if you tap a locate or nearby feature in the app or website.
• Account details such as name, email address, role, and venue or artist access when an admin, venue owner, or artist owner account is created.

We use collected information for product operation, analytics, reliability, security, support, and venue or artist owner workflows.

• Show event listings, venue pages, maps, filters, and shareable links.
• Measure which screens, filters, and listings are useful so we can improve the service.
• Detect crashes, performance problems, API failures, and abuse.
• Provide authenticated admin, venue owner, and artist owner features where available.
• Respond to support, correction, and deletion requests.

Bangkok Nights uses location only after you grant permission, and only to show venues and events near you or center the map around your current area.

We do not track your location in the background. We do not use location for advertising. You can use the core browsing experience without granting location permission.

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate Bangkok Nights or when required by law.

• Analytics and diagnostics providers, including PostHog, help us understand product usage and app reliability.
• Hosting, database, email, and infrastructure providers help us run the website, API, and operational tools.
• External links such as ticketing pages, Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps, Apple Maps, or venue websites are controlled by those third parties once you leave Bangkok Nights.

You can use Bangkok Nights without creating a public browsing account. You can also control device permissions and contact us about your data.

• You can deny location permission and still browse events and venues.
• You can disable or reset location permissions in your device settings.
• You can request deletion of account data if you have an admin, venue owner, or artist owner account.
• You can contact us if you want to understand what data is associated with your email address.

We keep analytics and diagnostic data only as long as needed for product measurement, reliability, security, and normal business records. Account data is kept while the account remains active or as required for legitimate operational needs.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS in transit. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

If we need to make a material change to this policy, we will update this page and revise the last updated date.
